Responsibilities
  • Use writing and editing skills to write UX copy that facilitates user navigation, onboarding, error messages, instructional materials, and other pieces of the complete user experience.
  • Simplify complex or abstract concepts and flows, and present them in a simple manner that’s easy for users to understand.
  • Ensure cohesive product narratives by following product and copy guidelines.
  • Collaborate with designers, business, product managers, and engineers to ensure that the product conveys the right tone and context in the entire user experience.
  • Checks quality of final copy in UAT and Production environments.
  • Create, proofread, and edit content for marketing and programmes.

Requirements
  • 1+ years of UX writing experience for websites and apps.
  • Expert-level spoken and written English competence, with strong communication skills.
  • Able to translate complicated medical terms into user-friendly terms.
  • A strong work ethic, attention to detail and consistency, and a very sharp eye for typos and punctuation.
  • Commitment to meeting deadlines and ability to maintain a high standard of work while handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Empathy to the user's pain point, needs and motivations.
  • Experience working with design systems.
  • Experience creating content for multi-disciplinary projects.
  • A portfolio of UX writing samples and writing guideline documentation – please be sure to include a link to this in your CV.

Bonus points for
  • Competence in written Chinese-simplified mandarin.
  • Familiarity with UX research principles, best practices and how to use data to drive informed user insights
